  • Closure begins on 4/25/2025 through 4/27/2025
  • Work to be done will be rail repairs at Sheffield Avenue and OCS Tie-In from SSL to the new West Lake line. See Attached Detour

• Installing Overhead Catenary System (OCS) in Hammond. See Attached Detour
• Installing power service at multiple locations in Hammond. No impact to vehicular traffic.
• Installing Traction Power Substation in Hammond MSF Yard. No impact to vehicular traffic.

Station Construction

• Contractor finishing elevator at Hammond Gateway Station.
• Contractor finishing light fixtures/emergency telephones in South Hammond lot.
